Ultrasound has been used to image the human body for at least 50 years and has become one of the most widely used diagnostic tools in modern medicine.

It is a very painless method of imaging almost any soft-tissue in the body.  It uses no ionizing radiation and is therefore considered safe when used by properly trained personnel for diagnostic purposes.

From the embryo to the elderly Ultrasound is used in a wide array of diagnostic scenarios and at SharonHospitalour highly trained and credentialed Sonographers use this technology to aid your physician in providing you with the best possible medical care.
