Hospice of Northwest Connecticut
Hospice Volunteers of Northwest Connecticut is an all volunteer program that helps terminally ill patients achieve the highest possible quality of life.
Hospice volunteers receive special training and provide emotional support, companionship, respite care, family caregiver support and help with household chores. The Hospice Program works closely with local VNAs, Nursing Homes and Sharon Hospital. Volunteers also visit patients in their own homes. Hospice of Northwest Connecticut welcomes new volunteers.
